Princess Pinky Twilight Grey Circle Lens Review

TGIF! I never really plan my days at work because I always get bombarded with questions and issues and my pile of work just get shuffled to the side as usual. We had a good-bye pot luck today for one employee who has been with us for 8 years and she left on the anniversary of her start date. How coincidental! We had great food and my boss makes the best salads ever!

Anyways, a little while ago, Pinky Paradise had a free shipping promo so I decided to pick up a couple more lenses.

I wanted some light grey contacts and Princess Pinky Twilight Grey fits the bill. If you've ever seen or ordered circle lens, you know that they come in these small glass vials and you have to be extra careful not to cut yourself when popping the cap. Pinky Paradise also includes a free pair of cute animal contact cases to store your contacts in.

Price: $28.90
Diameter: 14.5mm
Water Content: 38%
Base Curve: 8.6mm
Life Span: 1 year disposal

These lenses are very opaque and I'm pleased with the color because most grey circle lenses tend to run dark. They don't really offer much enlargement. Personally, I would have liked them just a bit bigger.
Some of the reviews I read claim that these lenses are uncomfortable but didn't really go into the detail so I wasn't sure what exactly to expect. Well, the critics are true. I found them uncomfortable too. They are uncomfortable because they don't sit well on my eyes and I can feel them. You know that feeling when your contacts feel dry and they want to pop out...yeah it's how they feel when I put them on.
I inspected them closely and I notice the curvature of the lens isn't as round and as deep as my other lenses. Hence, they don't fit my eyes comfortably. Aside from the discomfort, I feel that the prescription is a little off on one of the lenses. Honestly, I don't think I can stand wearing them more than an hour. They really bother me and seem to suck my eyes dry.

Anyways, back to the appearance of the lenses...I like that they don't have a really dark outer ring and it's a good thing they went light on it too, otherwise the contrast would have been too harsh against the light grey color. However, these contacts look very unnatural. They even creep me out a little. Definitely would not recommend for daily wear but more for cosplay, Halloween, or editorial photos / makeup looks.

I'm a little disappointed. Honestly, I can deal with the fact that they look unnatural but the discomfort bothers me enough to shout to others, save your money and get something else! Speaking of which, stay tune for my next circle lens review
