Revlon Matte Lipsticks Swatches

 

I purchased these two Revlon Matte Lipsticks from Big Lots not long ago. I actually don't know for sure if they are still available from the permanent line. Regardless, since I bought them I wanted to do swatches and tell you a bit about what I thought of the products.

The matte formula on these two lipticks is actually good. Not too dry but neither moisturizing. It is easy enough to apply and delivers good color payoff. I also like the fact that they are unscented. I haven't tested these for how long they last but from my experience with Revlon lipsticks, they usually last me about 3 hours.

Fabulous Fig is what I would describe as a brick red or terracota color. It maybe a good alternative if you want to try a more mutted red. I can see this color looking good on both cool or warm skintone.

In The Red is a bit brighter than I expected. It's pretty close to a true red but I still see a little hint of warmth on my skintone.
