CVS Clearance Haul

I was hoping to do more than just one post last night but my Internet and computer were acting up and I was extremely tired and overworked so I decided to hit the sack earlier than usual. I actually hauled these products last week. The only two products that weren't on clearance were the Cover Girl eyeshadow quad and the Maybelline lipstick.

Before I go on with the products that I purchased, let me just start by venting off, lol. Sorry, if you do not like to hear complaints, feel free to scroll further down. I was actually charged full price for these items. I also bought a few other things that day but I didn't realized I didn't get my discount until I was already home and took another look at my receipt. Bummed out, I went back to CVS a couple days later to explain what had happened. The cashier rolled her eyes and looked extremely annoyed that she had to take care of my problem and said to herself "gosh, why do they always do that to me?" I don't know if she was referring to her co-workers or the customers but I didn't like that attitude. I mean how hard can it be to reprocess my merchandise and issue me a refund? The inconvenience was all mine to begin with. I paid more than I really should have and had to drive a few miles to get to the closest CVS. GRRR!!! I wasn't even being mean or bitchy to her in spite of THEIR mistake but I ended up being more pissed off when I left because she was having an attitude.
Anyways, I'd hate to go back to that CVS again.

  • So here I have the CoverGirl new eyeshadow quad in Sugar Coated. I was curious to try them. I wonder if it was reformulated and better. I liked the colors in the quad as well.

  • Sally Hansen HD Spectrum. Honestly did not need this but I figured for a couple bucks, why not.

  • Revlon ColorStay Mineral blush in Honey. This looks like a nice natural blush. Not like I need anymore blushes but heck for 75% off, it was hard to look the other way.

  • L'Oreal Infallible face powder. MAC MSF Natural is my current HG powder but I'm trying to see if I can find a good and less expensive alternative.

  • L'Oreal HIP Navy. Do not get this one. It's as hard as a drawing pencil and your eyes will beg you for mercy.
  • L'Oreal HIP Studio Secrets Professional Black Shock. Wow this one is the total opposite of the other. It's very creamy and glide effortlessly. Now I'm worried about it smudging.

  • Maybelline ColorSensational Afternoon Tea. I HATE the scent of these lipsticks. I can almost taste it too but I tried to suck it up because of the color and I was curious to find out about the formula. Ughh, I might end up returning it after I try and review it because I can't stand the smell of it. I'm not that sensitive to scents but there are just certain scents that would make me sick to my stomach. Maybelline lippies have one of the most obnoxious lipstick scents I have ever come across. Is it just me or what? I don't often hear people complain about the scent. It smells like marshmallow and wax.

So that is it for this haul. Have you shopped at CVS's beauty clearance yet? What's the latest new beauty product that you are looking forward to buy?
