NOTW - OPI Mermaid's Tears with Konad Designs

Hi lovelies,

This is kind of a late post. I have been wearing this for a week already. This polish was hard for me to get my hands on so I decided to order from Amazon. Total cost including shipping was $7.95, which was the cheapest I was able to get. Prices and availability will often change if you are looking to order from Amazon.
This is a very pretty sage green with a cream finish that leans slightly blue. It came out with the Pirates of the Caribbean collection, which recently launched. By the way, have any of you seen the movie yet? My favorite part of the movie has to be the mermaids scene. They are so beautiful and fatal!
Anyhoo, I was saying this polish was a bit streaky on the first coat, which happens often with cream finishes. The second coat helped even it out and was quite opaque. It dried fairly quick and I must say the formula is quite good on this polish. As always, OPI polishes has a flat blush that is just the perfect size for easy and convenient application. After a week on my nails, it has not chipped on me at all, just very minor wear off at the edge of my nail tips. Then again, I was wearing a topcoat so I'm sure that also helped prolong the polish.
To add a little more pizazz, I used some floral designs from my little Konad kit. I seriously need more design plates. I'm already bored of the ones that I have. I also added glitter polish on my thumb and ring fingers.
So that's it for my little review/NOTW. I definitely recommend this polish if you like the color. I would rate this 9.5/10.

  1. The color is really pretty, and the design adds on to that. I really need to get my hands on that Konad set.
